They're popping up everywhere

Last year I documented inflatable front-lawn Christmas displays seen out in Pennsylvania -- a phenomenon that seemed to sprout up out of the ground last year and has come back, like pointsettias. Kinda.

It doesn't matter what neighborhood, they seem to know no tax brackets. People have blown up a teddy bear on a tiny screened-in porch or spread out two or three characters on a broad front lawn in the countryside. Driving around lately, I've noticed that there is a new holiday icon or two they've added this year.

But I don't think they needed to resort to Christmas porn ...
