Waking up at Mia's, NYC:

This wonderful (drunken) dream of a night out with a few people and a pretty girl whose name escapes me (in the dream) -- if it ever came up. She looks -- I think -- like Victoria from work: short, dark hair (though girl's hair in dream was a little longer). After an average, nondescript night out with friends and as friends, I find myself looking forward to taking her home because I've become drawn to her and I can see it's mutual. We'll go back to my place, where I'll take her home in my car and at the front door I'll ask for a good night kiss and get it. The feeling, I find, is similar to the night out when I first kissed high school girlfriend Heather and the excitement and anticipation I felt leading up to the moment.
