Lying in bed tonight I decided I'd go buy some stationery for the letter I'll send tomorrow and then (this is how my mind works) thought of when I bought the blank cards in December to make my own Christmas cards. The girl at the register asked if they were for me or someone else. When I told her, she said that was nice � it's always nice to make your own, she added. Walking out of the store, I thought it would be neat to send her one, so she'd see how I used them. I never did, but now wish I had. I would've addressed it: Amy (or whatever her name was, which escapes me now), Treasure Island, Highway 35 & Ave-Commons, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.

That would've been nice.
