Should we stay or should we go?

Note to self: Next time you think it might be a good idea to leave western Connecticut the night before a possible "snow event" expected to begin "mid- to late-morning on Sunday," but decide that it's only a 90-minute drive home and if you leave at 8:30, you should be home in plenty of time -- you won't be. Sure, you can go nice and slowly in the snow and unplowed highways and make a 90-minute trip take three hours, but you can't stop the other idiots from driving 55 and crashing and flipping their cars. Boneheads. (At least we made it home safe, sound and in one piece.)
