There's a pizza monster about

SO wrong.

I couldn't eat all my pizza on Friday because Pizza Nova gives you gigantic slices for, like, a buck fifty, and even cuts them in two. So by ordering two slices (one of them with baked ziti as a topping -- SO good), I couldn't finish both for lunch last week. I put the second slice in the refridgerator, intending to bring it home with me.

Alas, I forgot, and MAN did I crave it over the weekend. While leaving for work this morning, I consciously did not bring anything for lunch, knowing my pizza was left in the fridge. I knew what I was doing. I knew the chances I was taking. I knew it was inevitable.

I came in to work this morning and took care of various tasks and remembered my lunch awaiting me in the fridge. I went to check on it, to say hi and remind it that I hadn't forgotten it.

Not there. Nowhere to be found. It's not easy to miss a plate-sized brown bag with "PIZZA NOVA" written on it, so I knew I wasn't overlooking it. There were other brown bags in there, but none of them resembling the shape in which I'd left my pizza. In the event it was in one of those umarked bags, I'm sure I wouldn't have wanted it.

I miss my pizza.
