An interesting tidbit gleaned from watching Ocean's 11 tonight:

Eight of the actors have been on Thursday night NBC shows, either as a regular cast member or a guest.

Georgy Clooney, obviously, on ER ...

as was Don Cheadle, for his four-episode arc this past season ...

Elliot Gould, of course, plays Monica's and Ross's father on Friends ...

which Brad Pitt also guest-starred on ...

as did Julia Roberts ...

Matt Damon had a hilarious guest appearance on Will & Grace ...

and so did Andy Garcia (well, I don't remember if it was hilarious or not) ...

AND Carl Reiner made a guest appearance on Mad About You, which spent some time on NBC's Must See TV lineup during its run (I intend to check at work on Monday whether Reiner's appearance actually came during the show's Thursday night years).

Also, Eddie Jemison (who played the electronics whiz in the movie) has appeared on both CSI shows, including the Thursday night original, but that's on "another network," as they say.

I suspect there is a very good chance that I may be the first to make this connection.
