I need my Bruce fix
Oh my God, Ticketmaster's never been this slow (and ornery) before. A few years ago it only took me an hour and a half to get tickets for Springsteen at Madison Square Garden. Now it's Giants Stadium -- which holds, oh, four times as many people -- and I keep getting "proxy error" and "bad gateway" messages (and I'm using a PowerBook, not a Gateway; we all know they're bad). Sometimes, they pop up after 20 minutes of watching "Processing ... Your wait time is approximately 15 minutes or more." Yeah, with emphasis on MORE.
I guess with the new album and all the TV publicity (last night's CBS special, for instance), he's more in demand than ever before.
Woah! They just updated. My wait time is approximately 11 minutes now. That's after I was already waiting for 15 minutes. But that's the first I've seen it change to anything but an error since 9 a.m., so that's a good sign.
My pancakes are almost ready.
