The "business lunch"

Champagne in the middle of the day can really throw you off.

But it should help me absorb the fucking Irish blowing chunks against St. John's this afternoon.

So we had a little celebration because of our recognition in a national newspaper recently. Last time we had champagne, for our launch, it was in the kitchenette on this floor, at 5 p.m., just before we all went home. This time, we all trudged up to the third floor at 1 p.m. and then had to come back down to work.

The best part? The head head honcho saying, "And we haven't been sued!" Like it happened magically, without anyone working long hours to make it happen.

So I had a second glass.

And I haven't had lunch.

And I'm not sure if I feel my fingers on the keys.

I drank it pretty quickly.

Someone left me a great photo on my desk.

I've seen it before, but I still laugh.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Fuck, I was supposed to go to the post office after lunch. And I haven't eaten lunch. But I need to. And I should, since I can't drive right now.

OK, time for lunch.
