Off to Houston

Yep, haven't updated for a while. At least not substantially. What do you want? It's summer. The laptop gets hot on your lap.

I've also been at baseball games. That's also where I'll be for the next few days. Tomorrow, I fly to Houston to cover the celebrity aspects -- that would be the parties each night and Sunday's celebrity softball game (which will air on ESPN Monday night after the home run derby) of the All-Star Game. Which I get to go to as well.

I won't bore all you non-baseball types with those thrilling and intriguing details, so you'll have to read about it in my pseudo baseball blog. A few non-baseball tidbits may find their way here. If you're good. We'll see. Just know that this is trip -- on the company tab and all, as it is -- easily makes the One Of The Best Things To Ever Happen To Me list.

And if you see any updates from me before Thursday, they're probably originating from hot and humid as hell Houston. But me being myself, I'll probably put the dateline on them anyway.
