Scenes from a day

Strange scenes of the day:

Driving to the mall down past Port Imperial and the Lincoln Tunnel entrance at 10:45 a.m., I wondered why five cars were pulled over on the shoulder next to the light rail tracks. Then when I turned at the light to go up the hill toward the highway entrance, the entire right lane leading up to the tunnel was filled with cars just waiting.

All with one or two people in them because they were waiting for 11 a.m. and the four-person restrictions to end. Because it wouldn't be a trip to the office for New Jersey commuters without 20 minutes spent sitting in the car not moving.

Then, in the mall, I walked past the Santa setup (Short Hills shells out they got an authentic-looking old guy with a real beard! Probably an authentic fat guy too) and the theme this year?

The Chronic WHAT! cles of Narnia!
