I've had thoughts racing through my head all day, and they've built up like rushing flood waters now I can't concentrate to read this book about U.S. 1 ...

Thoughts of last night's (this morning's) weird dreams -- Kate and Margaret and my dodging the trains in a New York City tunnel -- Listening to Kerouac on the way home and wanting to read ALL of him now, then write my own great adventures -- Then thinking of those adventures I had last summer, of the poor western streets of Silver City and driving across the open dry Arizona desert in a convertible sometimes this June with Bryan, out there for Courtenay's wedding.

I've got too many thoughts all swirling around now that I can't even catch the words to work them out, I can't collect them to get my feelings down on this page. I guess I've lost my words tonight.
